I firmly believe that our understanding of the past directly impacts our successes today and in the future. We have much to learn from each other and the key to engagement in the public humanities lies in valuing diverse perspectives, honoring experiences, and enjoying the roles we all play in forming the larger picture. By investing in the public humanities we are building a culture of philanthropy which values our collective experiences and cultural heritage.
